Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GO-ECM1 is an investigational monoclonal antibody developed by GO Therapeutics that targets tumor-associated truncated O-glycans, specifically the Tn (GalNAc-Ser/Thr) and STn (Sialyl-Tn) antigens. These glycans are considered "super-clean" tumor antigens because they arise from aberrant O-glycosylation pathways unique to cancer cells and are absent in healthy tissues. While other candidates in the GO Therapeutics pipeline target malignant cells directly, GO-ECM1 is specifically designed for solid tumor stroma targeting. By binding to these antigens within the tumor microenvironment, the antibody aims to disrupt the supportive stromal architecture or deliver therapeutic effects to the extracellular matrix of solid tumors.
