Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GO-R170 is an antibody-based therapeutic candidate developed by GO Therapeutics, currently in early-stage development for the treatment of multiple solid tumors. The drug utilizes GO Therapeutics' proprietary platform to target tumor-specific truncated O-glycans, specifically the Tn (GalNAc-alpha-Ser/Thr) and STn (Sialyl-Tn) antigens. These glycan structures are truncated versions of normal O-glycans and are expressed almost exclusively on cancer cells due to altered glycosylation pathways, making them highly specific "super-clean" tumor antigens. GO-R170 is designed to selectively bind these antigens on the tumor cell surface to mediate anti-tumor activity while sparing healthy tissues.
