GO-R441 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody being developed by GO Therapeutics in collaboration with Astellas Pharma for the treatment of various solid tumors. The antibody specifically targets truncated O-glycans, including the Tn (GalNAc-alpha-Ser/Thr) and STn (Sialyl-Tn) antigens. These carbohydrate structures are tumor-associated antigens that arise from aberrant glycosylation processes in cancer cells and are typically absent or sequestered in normal tissues, providing a high degree of tumor specificity. GO-R441 is part of a strategic research agreement where Astellas' subsidiary, Xyphos Biosciences, utilizes its ACCEL (Advanced Cellular Control through Engineered Ligands) technology to incorporate GO Therapeutics' cancer-specific antibodies into novel immuno-oncology modalities, such as T-cell engagers or CAR-T cell therapies.
