gocatamig + ifinatamab deruxtecan is an investigational combination therapy under development for the treatment of extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC). - Gocatamig (MK-6070/DS3280) is a novel immunotherapy, likely a monoclonal antibody, designed to activate the patient's immune system to identify and destroy cancer cells[2][3][4][5]. - Ifinatamab deruxtecan (I-DXd) is a B7-H3-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), which means it uses a monoclonal antibody targeting B7-H3 (a molecule often expressed on tumor cells) linked to a cytotoxic payload (DXd, a topoisomerase I inhibitor). The ADC binds to B7-H3 on tumor cells, is internalized, and then releases the cytotoxic payload to induce cancer cell death[1][6]. Current clinical trials investigate the safety and efficacy of this combination (and others such as I-DXd + durvalumab) in relapsed/refractory ES-SCLC. Both components are administered intravenously. The therapy is not yet approved and is being studied in phase 1b/2 trials.
