GoFast CD19 CAR T cells are an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by the Chinese PLA General Hospital. The therapy utilizes the proprietary GoFast manufacturing platform, which is designed to streamline and accelerate the production of CAR T-cells, potentially reducing the manufacturing time to approximately 24 hours. This rapid process aims to minimize the vein-to-vein time, which is critical for patients with rapidly progressing B-cell malignancies. The CAR construct is engineered to target CD19, a protein consistently expressed on the surface of B-lineage cells. Upon infusion, these engineered T cells recognize and eliminate CD19-positive malignant B cells. The therapy is currently being investigated in early-phase clinical trials for patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphomas, including large B-cell lymphoma.
