Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Gongjin-dan is a traditional herbal medicine widely used in Korea and China primarily to combat fatigue-related disorders. It has been approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea and is commercially marketed for poor health, fatigue, and fatigue-related disorders. In animal studies, it has demonstrated anti-fatigue, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective properties. Clinical evidence suggests it may improve fatigue symptoms by regulating cortisol and other stress hormones, as well as by regulating oxidative stress and immunological activity.
