Overview

Goserelin + ribociclib is a combination therapy used primarily for hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) breast cancer. Goserelin is an LHRH agonist that suppresses ovarian hormone production in premenopausal women, while ribociclib is a selective CDK4/6 inhibitor that blocks cell cycle progression. This combination is typically used with aromatase inhibitors (letrozole or anastrozole) in premenopausal or perimenopausal women with advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Clinical trials have shown significant improvements in progression-free survival compared to chemotherapy or endocrine therapy alone, even in patients with aggressive disease features.
