GP2 peptide + GM-CSF + trastuzumab is a three-component combination regimen used in the adjuvant treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. The GP2 peptide is a HER2-derived immunogenic peptide (epitope HER2:654-662) designed to stimulate a CD8+ T cell-mediated immune response to HER2-positive tumor cells. GM-CSF (granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor) is an immunoadjuvant that enhances the vaccine's cellular immune response. Trastuzumab is a recombinant humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets the extracellular domain of the HER2 receptor, directly inhibiting HER2 signaling and inducing antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Clinical trials have demonstrated that this combination is safe and may provide a synergistic benefit in improving disease-free survival rates in HER2-positive breast cancer, particularly when GP2+GM-CSF is administered concurrently or sequentially with trastuzumab[1][3][5].
