GP40191 is an ultra-long-acting basal insulin analogue developed by the Russian pharmaceutical company Geropharm as a biosimilar to Novo Nordisk's Tresiba (insulin degludec). It is designed for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, providing a stable and prolonged glucose-lowering effect that lasts beyond 42 hours, which allows for flexibility in dosing timing.
