Overview

GPC3 CAR-T is a type of Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T cell therapy designed to target Glypican 3 (GPC3) expressing tumor cells. It is being investigated as a potential treatment for solid tumors, particularly hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), where GPC3 is often highly expressed. The CAR-T cells are engineered to recognize and be activated by GPC3 on tumor cells, leading to antitumor activity. Studies have shown its efficacy in preclinical models against GPC3-expressing tumor cells.
