Gproan Combined HFMD Vaccine

Gproan Combined HFMD Vaccine is a bivalent recombinant protein subunit vaccine being developed by Gproan Biotech for the prevention of Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease (HFMD). The vaccine candidate is designed to provide broad protection by targeting the two most common and severe causative agents of HFMD: Enterovirus 71 (EV71) and Coxsackievirus A16 (CoxA16). By utilizing recombinant viral capsid proteins as antigens, the vaccine aims to stimulate a robust neutralizing antibody response without the risks associated with live-attenuated or inactivated whole-virus vaccines. Currently in preclinical development, this combined subunit approach represents a strategic effort to address the multi-etiological nature of HFMD outbreaks, particularly in pediatric populations across the Asia-Pacific region.
