Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GQ1011 is a first-in-class fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3)-targeting antibody-drug conjugate co-developed by GeneQuantum Healthcare and Aimed Bio for the treatment of solid tumors harboring FGFR3 alterations or overexpression.[2][7][3] The ADC consists of an FGFR3-specific monoclonal antibody site-specifically conjugated, via GeneQuantum’s intelligent Ligase-Dependent Conjugation (iLDC) technology and a cleavable “open-ring” linker, to an innovative topoisomerase I inhibitor payload, designed to induce DNA damage and tumor cell death.[2][3] Preclinical studies in cell-derived and patient-derived xenograft models of bladder cancer, glioblastoma, and other FGFR3-altered solid tumors have shown potent antitumor activity and “exceptional anti-cancer effects,” with high tolerability in non-human primates suggesting a favorable safety profile, and the program is currently in IND-enabling development with plans for first-in-human phase 1 evaluation.[2][1][4][5][7]
