Overview
GR2302 is a bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) developed by Chongqing Zhixiang Jintai Biopharmaceutical (Genrix Bio) for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection and HBV-associated liver cancer. The molecule is designed to simultaneously target the CD3 receptor on T cells and the peptide-major histocompatibility complex (pMHC) presenting HBV surface antigen (HBV-S) peptides on the surface of target cells. By bridging these two components, GR2302 recruits and activates cytotoxic T cells to specifically eliminate HBV-infected hepatocytes and HBV-related tumor cells. This approach allows for the targeting of intracellular viral antigens that are typically inaccessible to conventional monoclonal antibodies. GR2302 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials.
