Overview

**GRAdHIVNE1** is a prophylactic vaccine candidate utilizing a non-replicating gorilla adenovirus (GRAd) vector (GRAd32) to deliver highly networked HIV T-cell epitopes. Developed collaboratively by ReiThera (providing the GRAd platform), the Ragon Institute (immunogen design targeting vulnerable HIV structural regions), and IAVI (sponsoring the trial), it aims to induce potent CD8+ T-cell responses for HIV prevention and potential therapeutic use. Currently in a Phase 1 trial (IAVI C114, NCT06617091) evaluating safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity in ~120 healthy adults and virally suppressed people living with HIV in South Africa and Zimbabwe.[1][2][3]
