GrafixPL PRIME is a lyopreserved human placental amniotic membrane allograft developed by Osiris Therapeutics (now part of Smith+Nephew) for the management of acute and chronic wounds. It is processed using proprietary Prestige Lyotechnology, which preserves the biological integrity of the extracellular matrix, growth factors, and viable cells while allowing for ambient temperature storage, a significant logistical improvement over the cryopreserved Grafix PRIME. The product acts as a biological barrier and scaffold, supporting the body's natural regenerative processes in indications such as diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and pressure sores.
