Graminaceae allergenic extract is a standardized biologic allergen extract derived from grass pollen, developed by Lofarma S.p.A. for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory allergies, including allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma. It acts as an immunomodulator by targeting the IgE-mediated allergic response pathway, aiming to induce desensitization and clinical tolerance in patients sensitized to grass pollens. The extract is utilized in both diagnostic skin prick testing and allergen immunotherapy (AIT).
