Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Granu Fink Prosta forte is a traditional herbal medicine (phytomedicine) containing a thick extract of pumpkin seeds (*Cucurbitae semen*). It is specifically indicated for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in adult men, particularly those associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) stages I to II (per Alken) or II to III (per Vahlensieck). The primary bioactive components are prostate-active Delta-7 sterols (Δ7-sterols), which exhibit structural similarities to the androgen dihydrotestosterone (DHT), allowing them to target the prostate/androgen signaling pathway. Marketed as hard capsules, the drug has been acknowledged by EAU Guidelines for long-term efficacy and has been evaluated in observational studies for its ability to improve symptoms such as frequent urination, nocturia, and weak urine stream.
