Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Granule Wakamoto is an over-the-counter gastrointestinal remedy formulated as a granule. It is approved in Japan as a designated quasi-drug. The formulation features a triple-action combination of three natural active ingredients: Aspergillus oryzae NK culture powder, lactic acid bacteria culture powder (specifically Streptococcus faecalis), and dry yeast (brewer's yeast), supplemented with B vitamins (thiamine nitrate, riboflavin, and nicotinamide). Aspergillus oryzae NK culture powder produces digestive enzymes (such as amylase, protease, and lipase) to assist digestion and relieve stomach heaviness and indigestion. The lactic acid bacteria culture powder regulates the intestinal flora, suppressing harmful bacteria and alleviating abdominal bloating, constipation, and loose stools. Dry yeast provides essential nutrients, including amino acids, minerals, and B vitamins, to support nutritional replenishment and combat physical fatigue. Developed and manufactured by Wakamoto, Granule Wakamoto is designed for individuals of all ages experiencing gastrointestinal discomfort, overeating, or fatigue.
