Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor plasmid is a plasmid DNA construct encoding the cytokine human granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF). It acts as a molecular adjuvant, primarily by enhancing immune responses through induction of dendritic cell proliferation, maturation, and migration, as well as promoting B and T lymphocyte expansion and differentiation.
