Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Griprest (also marketed as Griperest) is an oral pediatric drop formulation developed by Centaur Pharmaceuticals to support gastrointestinal health and alleviate symptoms of infantile colic, abdominal pain, and flatulence. It is a combination product containing the probiotic strain *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* GG (ATCC 53103) along with carminative dill oil and fennel seed oil. *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* GG helps restore and maintain a healthy balance of gut microbiota, improves epithelial barrier function, and supports immune homeostasis. The carminative dill and fennel oils act to relax gastrointestinal smooth muscle, reduce cramping, and facilitate the expulsion of gas, thereby relieving abdominal discomfort in infants.
