GRK007 is an experimental neuroprotective agent being developed by Suzhou Glanke Medical Technology (GrandKol) for the treatment of traumatic brain injury (TBI). The drug is designed to be administered via intravenous injection during the subacute phase of injury, targeting a range of TBI etiologies including motor vehicle accidents, sports-related impacts, falls, and battlefield blast-induced trauma. Its mechanism of action involves the enhancement of cellular metabolism and the activation of endogenous cell-survival signaling pathways. By promoting these pathways, GRK007 aims to improve neuronal survival and mitigate the secondary neurodegeneration that typically follows the initial physical insult to the brain.
