GRP94 refers to a series of therapeutic candidates developed by Hauul Bio that target the Glucose-Regulated Protein 94 (GRP94), also known as Endoplasmin or HSP90B1. GRP94 is a molecular chaperone typically resident in the endoplasmic reticulum that is frequently overexpressed and translocated to the cell surface in various malignancies, providing a tumor-specific target for immunotherapy. Hauul Bio's pipeline includes three distinct preclinical programs: ShotCAR-GRP94 (a chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy), ModCAR-GRP94 (a modular CAR-T cell therapy), and Antibody Therapeutics-GRP94 (a monoclonal antibody). These assets are being investigated for the treatment of solid tumors, including colorectal cancer, triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The programs are currently in the preclinical stage, focusing on CAR generation and functionality analysis.
