GS-9723 is a human immunoglobulin monoclonal antibody originally developed by Gilead Sciences as a broadly neutralizing antibody targeting the CD4 binding site of the HIV envelope glycoprotein. Its main investigated indication was HIV infection within immune and infectious disease settings. The mechanism of action involves neutralizing HIV by binding critical epitopes needed for viral entry into host cells.
