Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GS201 is a monoclonal antibody biosimilar/biobetter of pembrolizumab (Keytruda) being developed by Genscend Biopharmaceutical. It targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and is designed to block the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands (PD-L1 and PD-L2), thereby restoring T-cell-mediated antitumor immune responses. The drug is currently in preclinical and IND-enabling development for the treatment of various oncology indications, with an Investigational New Drug (IND) application projected for the second quarter of 2027.
