Overview

GS301 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody biosimilar of faricimab (Vabysmo) being developed by Jiangsu Genscend Biopharmaceutical. It is designed to target both vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A) and angiopoietin-2 (Ang2) to inhibit dual pathways involved in retinal vascular diseases. The candidate is currently in preclinical and IND-enabling development for ophthalmic indications, such as retinal diseases, with an Investigational New Drug (IND) application projected for late 2026.
