Overview

GSBR-2657 is an investigational, orally available small molecule agonist of the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) developed by Structure Therapeutics. In preclinical studies, GSBR-2657 has demonstrated high binding affinity to human GLP-1R and potent activation of the Gαs-cAMP pathway. In humanized GLP-1R mouse models, oral administration of GSBR-2657 showed dose-dependent glucose clearance, reduced food intake, and significant body weight loss comparable to semaglutide. It is being investigated as a potential treatment for type 2 diabetes and obesity.
