Overview

**GSK2231395A** was GSK's investigational non-typeable *Haemophilus influenzae* and *Streptococcus pneumoniae* protein-vaccine program. It was evaluated in Phase 1 studies for safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity in healthy young adults and in adults with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The clinical-trial label was not compositionally specific: the healthy-adult study evaluated a non-adjuvanted formulation, GSK2254232A, and an adjuvanted formulation, GSK2254233A, under the GSK2231395A intervention label. The COPD study was terminated prematurely, and no marketed product or INN has been identified. ([gsk-studyregister.com](https://www.gsk-studyregister.com/trials/112350))
