GSK2374697 is an investigational long-acting glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist developed by GSK. It is a genetically engineered fusion protein that joins exendin-4 to an albumin-binding human domain antibody called AlbudAb, enabling high-affinity binding to human serum albumin and extending systemic exposure. In a completed Phase 1 study, subcutaneous administration produced pharmacodynamic effects consistent with GLP-1 receptor activation, including reduced postprandial glucose and insulin and delayed gastric emptying.
