Overview

GSK2392103A is an investigational, AS03B-adjuvanted four-component **Staphylococcus aureus** vaccine developed by GSK. It contains capsular polysaccharides type 5 and type 8 conjugated to tetanus toxoid, a detoxified mutant alpha-toxin, and clumping factor A. The vaccine was designed to induce protective antibody responses against staphylococcal capsular and virulence antigens, thereby supporting opsonophagocytic clearance and neutralization of toxin-mediated pathogenicity. It was evaluated in a completed Phase 1 study in healthy adults but was not advanced further in development. ([pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12303710/))
