GSK3128349 is a radiolabeled albumin-binding domain antibody (AlbudAb), classified as a biopharmaceutical and developed as a diagnostic imaging agent. Its mechanism of action is **binding to serum albumin with high affinity**, allowing it to serve as a molecular tracer for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of albumin biodistribution and pharmacokinetics in humans. GSK3128349 itself has no intrinsic pharmacological activity. Developed by GSK, the AlbudAb platform exploits the long circulatory half-life of albumin, and GSK3128349 binds human albumin with subnanomolar affinity (Kd ≈ 0.85 nM)[2][3][1].
