Overview

**GSK3277511A** is an investigational GSK recombinant protein-subunit vaccine designed to prevent acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease associated with non-typeable *Haemophilus influenzae* and *Moraxella catarrhalis*. It contains NTHi protein D, a protein E-pilin A fusion protein, and *M. catarrhalis* ubiquitous surface protein A2; the selected later-stage formulation was adjuvanted with AS01E. The program reached Phase 2 evaluation, including a Phase 2b placebo-controlled efficacy study in adults with COPD and a history of acute exacerbations.
