GSK4424989 is an investigational **four-component prophylactic vaccine** developed by GSK to prevent infections caused by *Streptococcus pyogenes* (group A streptococcus, Strep A). The recombinant protein and glycoconjugate vaccine is designed to induce antibody responses against four Strep A antigens: streptolysin O, *S. pyogenes* cell envelope protease, *S. pyogenes* adhesion and division protein, and group A carbohydrate. It is being evaluated in a randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 1 study in healthy adults aged 18–25 years, using formulations adjuvanted with aluminum hydroxide or AS37.
