Overview

GSK6097608B is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CD96 (also known as TACTILE), an inhibitory checkpoint receptor expressed on T cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells. CD96 belongs to the CD226 (DNAM-1) axis and competes with the co-stimulatory receptor CD226 for binding to shared ligands, such as CD155 (PVR), on tumor cells. By antagonizing CD96, GSK6097608B is designed to block inhibitory signaling and enhance the anti-tumor activity of immune cells. Developed by GSK, the agent is currently being investigated in Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials, primarily in combination with other immunotherapies like the PD-1 inhibitor dostarlimab, for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
