GSK625433

GSK625433 is a small molecule inhibitor developed by GSK as an antiviral agent targeting hepatitis C virus (HCV). Its mechanism of action is inhibition of the HCV NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase. The drug was evaluated in early clinical trials for safety and antiviral activity in both healthy volunteers and patients chronically infected with hepatitis C. Development was discontinued after phase 1 studies[1][3].
