Overview

GT-20 is an investigational personalized neoantigen DNA vaccine developed by Geneos Therapeutics for the treatment of newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Utilizing the proprietary GT-EPIC platform technology, GT-20 is a custom-designed DNA plasmid encoding up to 40 unique tumor-specific neoantigens identified from an individual patient's tumor. The therapy is administered intradermally in combination with a plasmid-encoded Interleukin-12 (pIL12) adjuvant to enhance immune stimulation. The mechanism of action involves inducing tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and CD8+ activated cytotoxic T effector memory cells that traffic to the tumor to mount a targeted anti-tumor immune response. It is currently being evaluated in an investigator-sponsored Phase I clinical trial in collaboration with Washington University.
