GT-31 is a personalized DNA vaccine being developed by Geneos Therapeutics as an adjuvant therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Utilizing the proprietary GT-EPIC (Geneos Express Neoantigen Immunotherapy Cassette) platform, GT-31 is designed to encode a high payload of patient-specific tumor neoantigens—typically between 40 and 43—to stimulate a robust and diverse neoantigen-specific T cell response. The vaccine is intended for administration following definitive local therapy, such as surgical resection or ablation, with the goal of eliminating residual micrometastatic disease and preventing tumor recurrence. GT-31 represents an expansion of Geneos's personalized immunotherapy approach from the advanced/metastatic setting into the earlier adjuvant setting.
