Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GT300 (also referred to as GT-300 or GT 300) is an orally available small molecule drug candidate developed by Generian Pharmaceuticals. It is being investigated primarily for the treatment of Lewy body disease and other nervous system diseases. The mechanism of action has not been fully defined but exploratory studies have evaluated its effects on the autophagy-lysosomal pathway. As of February 2024, no development beyond preclinical or early clinical phases has been reported for Lewy body disease[1][2][4]. A phase I study in healthy subjects was planned to assess safety and pharmacokinetics[1][7].
