Overview

**GT729** is a universal cell injection (allogeneic cell therapy product) under investigation for the treatment of refractory or relapsed chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) in patients post-allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Sponsored by Grit Biotechnology (Zhuhai Grit Biotechnology Co., Ltd.), it is currently recruiting in a Phase 1 clinical trial (NCT07253259) in China, evaluating safety (including dose-limiting toxicity), efficacy (overall response rate), and adverse events up to 24 months post-infusion. Note: An unrelated small molecule GT729 (CAS 460328-20-5, EAAT2 modulator, molecular formula C30H31N7O3) was developed by The Wistar Institute for CNS diseases but is not the clinical cell therapy product.[1][2][4]
