GT969 is a first-in-class oral molecular glue degrader targeting the VAV1 protein, developed by Gluetacs Therapeutics. VAV1 is a scaffold protein essential for immune system modulation that was previously considered "undruggable" by traditional small molecule inhibitors. By inducing the selective degradation of VAV1, GT969 aims to treat various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), psoriasis, arthritis, and gout. Preclinical data suggests that GT969 has superior tissue enrichment in the gut, skin, and lungs compared to other VAV1 degraders, potentially offering a more targeted therapeutic profile.
