Overview

GTB-1615 is a **tetraspecific antibody fusion protein** developed as a novel type of NK cell engager for solid tumors[1][11][13]. It combines binding domains for **CD16a** (an activating receptor on NK cells), **EpCAM** and **CD133** (tumor-associated antigens), plus an **IL-15** moiety to stimulate NK cell proliferation and activity[1][11][13][14][15][16]. The drug is designed to enable NK cells to target and kill heterogeneous populations of cancer cells and the tumor microenvironment by simultaneously engaging these antigens and activating NK cells through IL-15 signaling. GTB-1615 was being developed for the treatment of solid tumors, particularly carcinoma[1][14][15][16]. Its mechanism of action involves specific targeting and activation of NK cells, improving their cytotoxic effects against tumor cells. The drug is a product of GT Biopharma.
