Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**GTL003** is Genticel's proprietary reengineered adenylate cyclase derived from the Bordetella pertussis CyaA protein, developed as an antigen for multivalent acellular vaccines. It leverages Genticel's Vaxiclase platform to enhance immune responses against infectious diseases, particularly whooping cough (pertussis), by acting as a carrier or standalone antigen in combination vaccines. In 2016, preclinical in vivo studies successfully met predefined objectives, triggering a milestone payment from partner Serum Institute of India, enabling progression toward formal preclinical testing ahead of clinical development for emerging markets.[1][3]
