Another variant, the Gu-Ben-Hua-Shi (AESS) formula, has demonstrated clinical effects in treating atopic dermatitis by reducing skin lesions, regulating the Th1/Th2/Th17/Treg immune balance, and influencing Yes-associated protein (YAP) expression.
