Gua Xie Xin Tong dripping pills is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) therapeutic being developed for the treatment of chronic stable angina pectoris and coronary artery disease. The drug is formulated as oral dripping pills and is specifically targeted at patients with the TCM syndrome of phlegm-blood stasis obstructing collaterals. It has undergone Phase II clinical testing in China, specifically evaluating its efficacy in patients with Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) class I–II exertional angina. The development is a collaborative effort between Heilongjiang Xinyisheng Pharmaceutical and Beijing Herun Innovation Pharmaceutical Technology Development.
