Guanxinning

Guanxinning is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily composed of extracts from *Salvia miltiorrhiza* (Danshen) and *Ligusticum chuanxiong* (Chuanxiong). It is widely used in China for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, including coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and coronary arterial microvascular disease. The drug works by promoting blood circulation, resolving blood stasis, and dilating coronary arteries, which improves myocardial blood supply and protects against ischemia-reperfusion injury. It is available in various forms, including tablets and injections, and is frequently evaluated in post-marketing clinical trials to confirm its efficacy in specific patient populations, such as those undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
