Guanxinning Injection

Guanxinning Injection is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) injectable formulation developed and marketed by Shanxi Zhendong Pharmaceutical. It is primarily composed of standardized extracts from two traditional herbs: *Salvia miltiorrhiza* (Danshen) and *Ligusticum chuanxiong* (Chuanxiong). The drug is indicated for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, specifically coronary heart disease and stable angina pectoris. Its therapeutic effects are attributed to the synergistic action of its active components, such as salvianolic acids, tanshinones, and ligustrazine, which promote blood circulation, resolve blood stasis, and improve myocardial blood supply by dilating coronary arteries and inhibiting platelet aggregation.
