Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Guben Qushi Decoction is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula developed by The Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine for the treatment of eczema. Specifically formulated for the 'spleen-deficiency dampness-type' TCM syndrome, the decoction aims to strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, which are believed to be underlying causes of chronic skin inflammation in this patient population. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials to assess its safety, clinical efficacy, and preliminary mechanisms of action in adults with eczema.
