Overview

Gubiao Fanggan granule (固表防感颗粒) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by the Affiliated Hospital of Hu'nan Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of lung-spleen qi deficiency (肺脾气虚) in patients recovering from COVID-19. The granule is designed to tonify qi and strengthen the body's exterior defense (Wei Qi), thereby improving symptoms such as fatigue and shortness of breath while preventing subsequent respiratory infections. It has been evaluated in randomized controlled clinical trials to assess its efficacy and safety in the post-acute phase of SARS-CoV-2 infection.
