Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Gucixiao Cataplasm is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) topical hydrogel patch developed by Guizhou Bailing Group Pharmaceutical for the treatment of orthopedic conditions characterized by pain and inflammation. The formulation contains a complex mixture of herbal extracts, including Ligusticum wallichii, Psoralea corylifolia, and Angelica pubescens, which are traditionally used to promote blood circulation and alleviate stasis. Indicated for bone hyperplasia, cervical spondylosis, and osteoarthritis, the cataplasm provides a cooling sensation upon application and ensures the sustained transdermal delivery of active constituents to the affected joint or bone area, thereby reducing local swelling and improving mobility.
