Overview
Guifu Dihuang Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) product developed and manufactured by Hubei Shengxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. It is an oral granule formulation of the classic Guifu Dihuang formula, also known as the Kidney Qi Pill (Shen Qi Wan). The preparation is composed of eight herbal ingredients: *Cinnamomi Cortex* (Rou Gui), *Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata* (Fu Zi), *Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata* (Shu Di Huang), *Corni Fructus* (Shan Zhu Yu), *Dioscoreae Rhizoma* (Shan Yao), *Poria* (Fu Ling), *Alismatis Rhizoma* (Ze Xie), and *Moutan Cortex* (Mu Dan Pi). In TCM theory, the formula is designed to warm and tonify kidney-yang, making it suitable for treating conditions characterized by kidney-yang deficiency. Clinical indications include lower back pain, cold sensations in the lower body, frequent urination (polyuria), nocturia, and edema. The product is approved in China as a commercial pharmaceutical drug.
