Guilutianjing Capsules (also referred to as Guilu Tianjing) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by the Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is designed based on the TCM theory of 'kidney master reproduction' to treat male infertility, specifically asthenozoospermia associated with kidney-yang deficiency. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials in China, where its efficacy in improving sperm parameters is compared against the standard TCM treatment, Wu Zi Yan Zong Pill, over a 90-day treatment course.
